Shasi Johnston
With qualifications in Public Health, Finance and Community Education, Shasi has spent the last 12 years working in and with not for profit organisations in the health, youth and community sector, within roles that range from voluntary to senior management.
As a result, she has a good understanding of the structural and cultural aspects of this sector.
Beginning her career with a subsidiary of the Westpac Bank, she realised a commitment to her wider community and moved on to roles with the AIDS Council of NSW (ACON), Bobby Goldsmith Foundation, Community Drug Project, NSW Health and the Queensland Injectors’ Health Network (QuIHN).
She has worked in Australia, England, India and Malaysia.
Shasi is committed to increasing the capacity of the not for profit sector and the sustainability of the environment.
Susannah Wallman
With qualifications in health and business, Susannah has worked across the community, government and private sectors in roles ranging from service provision and project management, to policy & research and governance.
She is passionate about the not for profit sector and the valuable contribution it makes to the wider community, and has a strong interest in not for profit strategic thinking and planning.
Her MBA studies aligned a personal interest in sustainable development with the opportunity to examine the strategic benefits of environmental sustainability management within organisations.
She is excited to be working towards helping not for profit organisations harness these benefits to ensure that the crucial work they do strengthens and grows.
Dave Johnston
With a strong customer focused sales background, Dave previously spent 5 years implementing efficiency-based software and process change initiatives with a diverse range of Australian organisations including the Australian Tax Office, Australia Post, Woolworths and Origin Energy.
His experience also includes working as a sales manager in Australia, the UK and the Netherlands with a global direct marketing company.
Since 2010, Dave has been working with businesses to assist them to achieve GreenBizCheck environmental certification, and sits on the board of EnviroIndustry – the recognised representative body of the environment industry on the Gold Coast.
Mairéad Cleary
Mairéad is a sustainability consultant and mechanical engineer who started her career in building services in Ireland. Her interest in environmental conservation and renewable energy took her into the world of commercial wind-farming in the early 2000′s at a time when environmental consciousness was largely lacking in Ireland.
She has more than 7 years experience in various aspects of environmental sustainability, including renewable energy design & project management, sustainability audits, sustainable branding & marketing and is committed to helping businesses and organisations flourish and achieve their triple bottom line. Her experience in sustainable branding has given her a focused outlook for sustainability opportunities within businesses and organisations.
Promoting business’ sustainability credentials led Mairéad to copywriting and online marketing. Mairéad has written website content and carried out online marketing for clients in a range of product & services businesses. She conducts website reviews and consults on best practices for optimising business websites and sustainability credentials.
Mairéad’s enthusiasm for environmental sensitivity has naturally extended into the area of human consciousness and she is greatly involved in the fields of personal development and human potential.
Mairéad has worked in Ireland, Australia and New Zealand.
